Q - What is Project Life?

A -

Project Life is a solution-based approach to scrapbooking that was created to simplify the process in order to allow you more time to enjoy life! It requires no glue, no scissors, no tools, and no skills of any kind. The design of our products takes the guess work out of layout design so that you can focus on recording your everyday moments through your photos and journaling. The simple design is stylish and makes it possible for you to complete more pages in less time. For more details, please visit here.

Q - What do I need to get started?

All it takes to get started is a Core Kit, an Album, and Big Pack of Photo Pocket Pages. All of these items can be purchased in our shop, and if you buy a full bundle of products, you save 20%! Pair these with your photos and journaling to create a complete album.

Once you have your three products, here is a great blog post that will walk you through the steps to set up your album!

Q - Are your products acid-free and archival?

Yes, all items that your photos will be touching are archival and acid-free.

Q - Do I have to take a photo a day to use Project Life?

A -

Absolutely not! You can use Project Life however it fits you and your life best. Whether you’re taking a picture a day or scrapbooking boxes of photos from the past, Project Life is perfect for whatever project you are working on.

Q - Where can I order Project Life products?

You can find the widest assortment of our products right here in our shop. You can also find a selection of our products on Amazon.com.

Q - Can I purchase PL at any retail locations?

You can find Project Life at most Michaels, Jo-Ann and Hobby Lobby stores in the U.S. You can also find our products at many smaller retail locations. Click here for a list of stores in your area.

Each retail store chooses which products that they would like to carry in their stores. If you would like to see more Project Life items be sure to mention that to your store manager.

Q - How often do you come out with new designs?

We are always busy with product development and offer new designs throughout the year.

Q - Who designs PL collections?

A -

We hand select and work with a variety of designers to bring you a myriad of design styles. You can learn more about the people who have designed our products here. We also work closely with our friends at American Crafts and their design department who create many of our products in-house.

Q - How many cards are included in a core kit?

A -

Each of our Core Kits comes with 616 cards – enough to fill a 12×12 album. Our products have evolved over time and continue to do so, so the number of each type of card varies from kit to kit. We recommend you read the complete product description in our shop for the most accurate counts that are included in the product you are considering.

Q - Do you ever donate PL for an event or fundraiser? How do I request this?

As you can imagine, we do receive quite a few requests for donations. We do love to help whenever we can, but it is on a request by request basis. To inquire about a donation for your event, please email customerservice@beckyhiggins.com.

Q - How do I contact you?

Q - Can I cancel an order I have already submitted?

No, we’re unable to cancel an order once it’s already in process. Please contact support if you have a pressing need.

Q - Can I make changes to an order I have already submitted?

No, we’re unable to make changes once the order is in process. Please contact support if you have a pressing need.

Q - Can I share my pages I create on multiple devices? I want to start on my phone and finish on my tablet.

A -

Yes! By saving your layout as an editable export to Dropbox, you can import your layout to a new device and continue making edits.

Q - Can we use Digital Project Life kits that we have already purchased with the app?

A -

You can save your cards from the kits into Dropbox and then access them from the app that way.

Q - Do I have to buy the app and kits again for my other devices?

A -

No. As long as you are using the same Apple ID or Google Play Account, you can sync in-app purchases by clicking on “Restore Previous Purchase” located just below any kit.

Q - Do I need to be connected to the internet to use the app?

A -

No, you can build your page and create layouts and collages without an internet connection. You just will not be able to purchase kits without a data or wifi connection.

Q - Do you ship internationally?

A -

Yes, international shipping is available for most products. Exceptions include Holiday Cards and Photo Books, which we only ship within the U.S.

Shipping costs vary by region.

Becky Higgins LLC cannot be responsible for any international custom and duty fees, taxes, or brokerage fees assessed by the carrier. These fees are in addition to, and not included in, the cost of shipping. We are obligated to declare all items as merchandise, and will not mark items as “gifts.” We cannot be liable for any delays due to packages held at customs.

Q - How do I save my layout in the highest resolution?

A -

After you complete a page, choose “Export” rather than “Share”.

Q - How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A -

You should expect 7 business days, although delivery times may vary by location.

Q - I am getting a new phone. How do I make sure that I save my work in progress and completed layouts?

A -

Step 1: Make sure you have backed up your phone. iDevices should back up to iCloud or iTunes.

Step 2: When you activate your new phone, restore from that backup, and restore purchases on your new phone.

Alternately, you may choose to save all of your layouts as editable exports to Dropbox. On your new device you’ll be able to pull these layouts back into the app and continue editing them.

Q - Is my Project Life account connected to my user account at BeckyHiggins.com?

A -

No, they are not connected. You’ll need to create a separate account in the Project Life App to order prints. The username needs to be a valid email address, and the password must be at least 4 characters long.

Q - What are the prices for photo books through the Project Life App?

A -

We are thrilled to offer gorgeous photo books directly through the Project Life App to make the process as simple as can be! We offer both hard cover and soft cover books to suit both style + budget, form + function. All photo books ship for a flat $5 (included in pricing – U.S. addresses only) and additional copies of the same book can be shipped for an additional $3/each. The pricing for the photo books is:

Q - What are the prices for prints through the Project Life App?

We offer 8×8, 10×10 and 12×12 prints directly through the Project Life App which makes ordering them a breeze!! They are printed on Kodak Lustre Endura Pro paper and will be shipped directly to your door for a flat $5 fee (to U.S. addresses – international and expedited shipping charges will be higher). The pricing for the prints is:

8×8: $0.99

10×10: $1.49

12×12: $1.99

Q - What should I do if I have forgotten my account password?

The login screen has a “Forgot Password?” button that allows you to reset your password. Tap that button and follow the instructions to reset your password.

Q - When will the app be available for Android?

A -

The Project Life App is now available on Android devices! Search “Project Life” in the Google Play Store and download it today!

Q - Why do I need to create an account to order prints?

A -

The user account helps us keep track of the orders that belong to you. We can keep track of your order(s) across multiple devices and you don’t lose that info if your device is damaged, if the app gets deleted, etc.

Q - How soon will my order ship?

A -

In most cases, orders are shipping within 2 business days. We ship US Continental Orders using Fed Ex Smart Post, so most orders arrive in 7 to 10 business days. Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation with your tracking information.

Q - What are your shipping rates?

For the Continental US, we are pleased to offer free shipping for all orders over $35. Additional flat shipping rates are as follows:

$9 for orders under $35 in the US
$19 for Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Virgin Islands

Q - Do you ship internationally?

No – unfortunately, we are unable to ship internationally at this time.

Q - Can I pay for my order using PayPal?

Absolutely! We’re proud to offer PayPal as one of our payment options. Please note that orders will be shipped to the address that is affiliated with your PayPal account so please make sure to confirm your address when checking out.

Q - Do you sell Project Life as a bundled kit or do I have to purchase everything individually?

We have a “build your bundle” option in our shop that allows you to choose the Core Kit, 12×12 Album, and Big Pack of Photo Pocket Pages that suit you best and you’ll enjoy a 20% discount when you purchase all 3 products at the same time! Please note that sale items are not eligible for the 20% bundled discount.

We do, on occasion, have a discount offer or a sale. Please first try to exchange/return it to the store where it was purchased. If for some reason that doesn’t resolve the issue, please email customerservice@beckyhiggins.com and we will do our best to help.

Q - May I add something to my online order once it is placed?
