Pocket Scrapbooking with Project Life

Cultivate a good life and record it.

william joseph

Some of you are already familiar with the brilliance of William Joseph. While we never knew each other personally (until this year), I’ve been a fan of his music for years. I actually knew of his family before his career exploded because we happen to live in the same town. In case you are new to his music, I am more than pleased to share this with you. First of all, check out his YouTube channel where you can view video after video. I dare you to stay only a few minutes! One of my favorites is his rendition of Radioactive. Um… wow.

David Foster is a fan of William as well, and they’ve done some incredible work together. David, who is known worldwide for his music and has won more grammy awards than I can count, has even introduced William by saying:

“He is the younger, better looking, more talented, plays-better version of ME!”  –David Foster

So don’t just take it from me. William Joseph is phenomenal.

So why am I even talking about this?

Because. You guys. I am completely honored to tell you that William single-handedly composed and recorded custom music for our I Am Project Life video! Some of you still have yet to see it and some of you may want to watch it again now because you understand who is behind that beautiful music. Kudos to my husband David for even thinking to reach out to William in the first place. It was a major lightbulb moment for us and I called him and was like, “Just hear me out on this one. We want you to be a part of a very special project.” We went on and on for a good chunk of time and he quickly understood that I was just as passionate about my message in cultivating a good life and recording it as he is about music.

William recalls:

I remember exactly where I was when Becky asked if I would write music for the “I Am Project Life” video. I had just landed in Phoenix, returning from touring. I had never heard of Becky or her company, but I quickly caught her vision of “I Am Project Life” and instantly felt a connection with this project. I was so moved by the concept and storylines she described to me on my way home that I drove straight to my studio and composed the music within minutes. “I Am Project Life” is all about capturing and celebrating different moments in our life and the music I composed reflects many emotions related to those moments.

Seriously, we are honored. Thank you William for sharing your talents with the world and for being a part of this little itty-bitty-to-you-but-ginormous-to-us production. We are tickled pink about the opportunity we had to work with William on this project and he just totally nailed it. You can follow him on Facebook.
