the most epic version of hide + seek we’ve ever done!

Feeling like today should be an awesome Thursday? We sure do! Most of you know that we’ve been doing something pretty fun with our customers for a while now. On social media it’s called #BHhideandseek. Once in a while (sometimes twice a week), we arrange to have a Project Life Core Kit placed in a random place, in a random location. Then I announce the specific location on social media and someone goes and claims the prize! It’s seriously so fun, and just one small way we love to engage with our customers and also give back. We love you guys. You know that.

Today we’re announcing an adventure of epic proportions! We’ve been working behind the scenes with our friends at Stampin’ Up! for months to bring you a Hide + Seek event like nothing we’ve done before! As part of my experience at the Stampin’ Up! Annual Convention in July, I spent time signing rows and rows of Project Life® by Stampin’ Up!® kits that were also signed by Shelli Gardner – Founder and CEO of Stampin’ Up! These kits were then sent home with an excited bunch of demonstrators from the U.S. and Canada that were randomly selected to be a part of this super fun event!

Each of these demonstrators was given the task of selecting a location near their hometown to hide the kit, they were given a day and time for the “drop” to be made, and here we are with a list of all the locations – by state and province – of where these kits are hiding out right now (4:00 PM Eastern / 1:00 PM Pacific)!! Will you be the lucky one to reach the destination in time and score a free kit? If you do find one of these 58 kits, we’d love to see you share a photo on Facebook and/or Instagram! Make sure to tag @beckyhigginsllc, @stampinup, and use the hashtag #PLxSUHideandSeek.

  27. Kimberly Bourque says:

Ok, I have to recognize the herculean effort this organization HAD to take to drop one in each state and areas of Canada, know the location/address AND announce it on here. MAJOR PROPS to Becky & Stampin’ UP! BRAVO.

  28. Sue says:

I couldn’t find the one in Beaverton, OR. Another woman was there also looking, we guessed someone had already found it.

    • Pamela says:

That’s what happened in Germantown, MD. It’s my hometown and called my Dad to check who was 5 minutes away! Ran into the sister of the demonstrator who was also looking for it…

  38. Sarah says:

Anybody know if the VA one has been found… I’m impatiently waiting to get off work!

  39. Tina Spieker says:

ND must already be picked up, although my 3 kids and I went on quite a wild goose chase as the address posted is not correct :( should be 45th st I believe. May have gotten there in time if I hadn’t gone to the mis typed spot :(

  40. tanisha says:

got there a couple minutes too late to find the idaho falls one.

  41. Wendy Petrie says:

Congrats Joey for finding the NC kit!!! It was so nice meeting you and hope to stamp and scrap with you soon!!! What a close race :)

  42. Julie says:

What are the chances?! I was supposed to be in Lowell, Mass at this very moment but plans were cancelled last minute.. Congrats to whoever gets that kit!

  43. LS says:

Your generosity is appreciated Becky. I was very shocked to see the Richmond BC location; just minutes from my home! I was there by 1:10pm and spent 40 minutes scouring the enormous plaza in front of Brighouse Library. With no specific hint given about the location, I looked around and under the many hedges, benches, trees, walkways, flowerpots, shrubs, lamp posts, the fountain, etc. No luck for me and another lady. Then a woman arrived and walked right up to a bench and got the kit from behind it. Wouldn’t you know, I had looked under and behind every bench EXCEPT two – including that one – so as not to startle the elderly ladies sitting there. I was surprised when the lucky finder said the SU Demonstrator had posted a specific photo of the hiding spot on her own Facebook page; thus the finder knew to simply head directly to the benches. Lucky for her, but not for those of us who didn’t have access to that very helpful clue and searched the entire huge plaza fruitlessly for 40 minutes before she got there.

Perhaps something to consider in the future to help with fairness for all your loyal customers; if the people “hiding” on your behalf are going to take a photo of the hiding spot, please consider posting that photo clue on YOUR Facebook page, not on the anonymous hiders own page – surely most people could not possibly know who that person is. This would enhance your already generous game by making it fair, ie… the winners would more likely be based on who got there first, not who had an inside tip.
Thanks and congratulations to all the finders today!

    • Toni Chase Toni Chase says:

Thank you for your comment! For our normal “Hide & Seeks” we do post a photo of the specific location, but with this grand event, that just wasn’t feasible with 50 states + some in Canada hiding all the same time. I’m sorry you didn’t find it when you got there! ~ Toni @ Becky Higgins

  44. Cece green says:

Drove around grande opry several times, even talked to security. Not there!

  45. Amy Dow says:

Oh! The one day I was really busy and forgot you were doing this you pick my town!! WooHoo! Congrats to the Joliet, IL winner!!!

  46. Jenny says:

    Found IN!!

  47. Kristen D says:

Found it under the evergreen in front of the Legislative Building in Regina, SK. So exciting!

  48. Amy says:

The Fargo, North Dakota address is a residential area. Too bad something like that was mixed up. It is the correct number but the wrong street (should be 1551 45 street s, not 4 Street) which is a 5.5 mile difference and across a construction area that has been causing a lot of drivers major delays this week.

  49. rachel says:

I’m confused. Several people have looked for the Fargo, ND and are guessing its found since it’s nowhere to be seen. Has someone actually picked it up?

  50. Joanne says:

I’m confused! NOVA SCOTIA is its own Province, why does it show up under the Province of New Brunswick?
Is there actually one in NB or no?
    This is what’s posted:

    New Brunswick

By the gazebo in Chisholm Park – 294 Main St., Antigonish, Nova Scotia

  51. Sara says:

Antigonish, Nova Scotia is in the province Nova Scotia…not New Brunswick

  52. Erika says:

Found the one in UT! This is such a fun idea. Thank you so much for arranging this huge surprise for everyone! I’m so excited to use this new product!

  53. Danya says:

Anyone know if the Edmonton one has been found?

  54. Teresa says:

No luck at Liberty Church in Broken Arrow, OK. :( My kids were great hunters, though! Congrats to the lucky finder!

  55. Dawn Salisbury says:

Was the Cedar Falls Iowa kit been found? Scoured the whole mall. Please post when kits were found!!!

  56. Bonnie says:

I sure hope someone found the Winnipeg kit, because if they didn’t the rain has probably destroyed it.

  57. Sheryl says:

Did anyone find the Montana one? The address was mis-typed there also.

  58. Lisa Thompson says:

Anyone find ohio? I am here now. Drove an hour to find it.

  59. Holly Carlin says:

  63. Kathy nelson says:

How exciting! I was sad to see this after I drove 2 hrs home tonight after being in Regina. Would have made my year to find this….

  64. Amber Hauguel says:

  65. Lulu says:

Hi, why are you never helping your australian friends??

  66. What fun! I wish I could participate but Nashua, NH is too far for me to drive. I hope everyone has a blast! :)

    Mary from NH

  67. Carolyn HP says:

Does this mean these are places where there are Stamping Up demostrators that have project life or just ones who joined in the hide and seek ? I’m in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and wondering if there is a rep here… thanks for your help! Love the new products!

    • Molly Brasel says:

      Hi Carolyn,
These kits were all hidden by Stampin’ Up Demonstrators! You can find a local SU Demo by going to the Stampin’ Up website and selecting “Find a Demonstrator” at the top. I hope you can find someone close to you! If not, we have online stores where you can window shop and of course purchase. Good luck!

  68. lunachick says:

  69. Kendra in Dayton says:

Just visited Orchardly Park in Oakwood Ohio. GOnna guess the kit has been found although I have not seen an update here or on Instagram.

  70. Jamie says:

I have not seen any posts about the New York hiding site. I was wondering if anyone has found it? I live about 2 1/2 hours away and would hate to drive there and have it be already found.

    • Kendra in Dayton says:

Saw a post on Instagram – though the text does not say exactly where, the photo says Spencerport Depot. Hope that helps.

  73. Thea Sheila says:

Is it possible for you and your team to list the states in which the PL have been found? So we know where else we can go to find the rest (my friend can look them up for me) ;-)

  74. Michele B says:

    Anybody find the Nevada box?

  75. LB says:

    so awesome looking forward
    to seeing the photos

  76. You really make it seem really easy together with your presentation however I to find this matter to be really one thing which I think I would by no means understand. It seems too complicated and very broad for me. I’m taking a look forward for your next post, I?¦ll try to get the grasp of it!
