new product reveals – plastics

We’re not even close to wrapping up this week of exciting product announcements. The fun continues and today we’re focusing on all the new “plastic” items. All the Project Life® cards provide the color, the mood, the themes and prompts and style. But the plastics part of the Project Life family are equally essential to the system. This is what holds our photos and memories and memorabilia. This part is what actually organizes it all.

You’re about to see lots of new options. You’re about to see that where we started with Design A once upon a time, and added Design B, and then grew to a few others … we are now rounding out the alphabet all the way to Design Z!

Note to those who love options & creativity: This is what you’ve asked for, and I’m excited to finally make all of these available. Have FUN!

Note to those who love to keep it simple: Feeling overwhelmed with too many options? Remember – these are simply additional & supportive products to the Project Life® system. If you want to just stick with Design A or a couple of your favorites to meet the needs of your horizontal & vertical photo needs … keep it simple.

Let’s get to it!

Product: Project Life® Photo Pocket Pages – Design K (pack of 12) + Design L (pack of 12)

Expected arrival: Late August/early September – in stores everywhere, including online

Notes: These are each going to be very popular. Design K is conducive for Instagram prints (or just trim down a 4×6 for those square 4×4 pockets) across the top & bottom, with a row of 3×4 Project Life Journaling Cards through the middle of the 12×12 page. Design L is strictly for all vertical 4×6 photos – something you’ve been requesting that we include with our line of plastics.

Product: Project Life® Photo Pocket Pages – Small Variety Packs 3, 4, 5, 6

Expected arrival: Late August/early September – in stores everywhere, including online

Notes: Each of these Small Variety Packs, just like our currently available ones, have 12 pages in a pack and offer a variety of 4 different designs (3 pages of each). This first one (Small Variety Pack 3) includes 12×12 pages that each hold square 4×4 photos + 3×4 Journaling Cards.

Small Variety Pack 4 (below) includes 3 of the all-vertical-4×6 Design L, 3 of Design P (which holds all 4×4 photos), 3 of Design Q (for horizontal 4×6 + square pockets), and 3 of Design R (for vertical 4×6 + square pockets).SmallVP4

Small Variety Pack 5 (below) includes 3 each of these 4 designs that are all conducive for LOTS of those little 3×4 cards. You might recognize Design T is really like our popular Design F, just flipped on its side so all the little pockets are horizontal. And then Designs U and V are obviously ALL 3×4 pockets, which is going to be particularly awesome for when your child has loads of artwork that you can scan and print in that smaller size, to fit more in your album that may already be getting “too thick” (if there’s such a thing).SmallVP5

Small Variety Pack 6 (below) is all about pairing the 4×6 photos with the 3×4 journaling cards – just more options for how the page is laid out.SmallVP6

Product: Project Life® Photo Pocket Pages – Big Variety Pack 3

Expected arrival: Late August/early September – in stores everywhere, including online

Notes: This BIG Variety Pack has 60 pages, just like our Big Variety Pack 1 and Big Variety Pack 2, which are each available now. Big Variety Pack 3 has 10 each of these 6 different designs.

Product: Project Life® 8.5 x 11 Envelope Pages, and Project Life® Envelope Variety Pack

Expected arrival: Late August/early September – in stores everywhere, including online

Notes: Our Envelope Pages continue to be wildly popular because they’re designed to be a catch-all for all that STUFF that you want to keep in an album, but you don’t necessarily need to “display” on a scrapbook page. We are pleased to introduce the 8.5×11 size to add to this little family of Envelope Pages. Great for items of this standard size, whether you put this in a 12×12 album or an 8.5×11 album.

And (below) we will also be offering a 3-pack of our currently-available Envelope Pages as well – 1 each of the Big (12×12), Small (6×6), and Tall (6×12).

That’s a wrap for today. More big stuff coming tomorrow. But you were already planning to check back, right?  ; )

  1. Nicole says:

LOVE all of the new options!!! Ever thnk of adding a plastic with 5×7 photo spots???? Just an idea :)

  2. HOLY SMOKES! Love, love, love these, Becky.

  3. Melissa M. says:

Hi Becky, I really like some of the new options but I was wondering when the digital templates would be available?

    Melissa :)

    • Tracy says:

Please tell me that there are digi templates to be released that will match these!!!!

    • Maria says:

Ditto! We need some of these as digital templates! Yes, we can alter the ones we already have to match these, which I already do, but to make square “pockets”, the corners never turn out the same!

  4. Texas mama says:

Any plans for the older 3×5 size? I have tons of photos that size hoping that there’s a plastic for that size soon!

Excited for all the new releases!

  5. Christine Farndon says:

    Great new options!

  6. Janice Hopkins says:

    So Exciting! Love new products!

  7. Nancy Hyland says:

Becky, lots of the kids artwork and schoolwork is 9×12 that would be a great new size to incorporate!!

  8. Linda says:

I love all of these and see some I am really interested in, but also agree with Nicole, have you ever thought of adding a 5X7 spot, it would be great for us grandparents that get lots of 5×7 pictures of our grandchildren.

  9. Nicky from Okotoks says:

You have been very busy and I love love love all the new additions!!

  10. Cheryl says:

Love the design L as I take mostly portrait/vertical photos.

I LOVE to see a 3½x5 pocket page.

I have TONS AND TONS of 3½x5 photos that I’d like to scrap Project-Life style. I tried using the 4×6 pages, but unless I mount each photo on a 4×6 card the photos slip out, and I’m not interested in doing all that mounting.

  11. Sarah K says:

I feel like someone just came and scrambled my brains with a whisk. Yowza!

  12. Cheryl says:

    Speaking of requests …

How about a 5½x8½ … my GK get lots of certificates in the ‘half of a sheet of letterhead’ size.

  13. Regi says:

LOL! Becky you are going to make my head explode with all the choices. There is NO reason I can’t finish albums now! Thank you for making one aspect of my life easier and less stressful.

  14. Nicolle says:

    Very cool. Loving these reveals!

  15. dawn says:

WOW WOW WOW!! I love them all, THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

  16. Rachel says:

3.5 x 5 pockets would be great for all the old photos sitting in a box right now! Please Please Please!
Can’t wait to buy some of these new styles!!!

    • Ana says:

I totally agree that 3.5 x 5 pockets would be awesome! I have hundreds of this size (before 4 x 6 became the common available standard). For now, I’ve set the [hundreds of] 3.5 x 5 photos aside, since I’m not ready to do the necessary gluing and trimming to fit in 4 x 6 pockets (I’m almost done doing a huge project now in which I pasted all my 70’s square photos on to 4 x 4. They look great and it feels good, but it’s been a huge production undertaking). Absolutely love Project Life and Becky–what an amazing woman and company! God bless you!

  17. Ang says:

The way I’m reading it many of the new styles will only be available in the new small variety packs, is that right? For instance the one I want the most is Design U- will I be able to buy a pack of just those?

  18. Kim says:

Wow – fabulous new designs! So many creative options! Especially loving Design W. I’m also wondering(like a couple other people) will you be doing 3.5 x 5 pockets? I have such a big need for those!! Thanks!

  19. Jill says:

Thank you for designing so many 12×12 pages with pockets for Instagrams! I love the smaller Instagram inserts but I have been dreaming about an option that would no require me to add an extra page protector as it is always my goal to actually keep my PL to just ONE album each year. :) Thank you!!!!! I will save my money so I can buy one of each….

  20. Theresa F. Miami Florida says:

What are you bring tomorrow more stuff for us I wont it all

I have to save money too to buy all

Maybe Becky will sell the new catalog on Amazon

  23. Diana says:

Love all the new products. Just wondering… are the leather look albums from CHA Winter available yet? I didn’t see them on Amazon.

    • Carrie says:

Yes, I too am curious about the leather albums – new announcement soon I hope?! I would even enjoy a blog post about the actual binders Becky uses to put her finished albums into. Also, what binders do other PL-ers use to put their finished plastics and layouts into? Not all BH albums work for all core kits – especially the new ones. I’m currently working on a baby boy core kit and a wedding album using rain + mini kit and not sure what I want to put it inside of. Help?

  24. Mendi M says:

Love it all! Can’t wait to order! Quick question, will we be able to purchase all of the new plastics in packages individually by design type or can we only purchase in the variety packs?

  25. Angela says:

Oh my goodness…I’m so excited about Design V and really hope that these letters shown in the variety packs are also available individually. Thanks so much for so many great options!

  26. Nolwenn says:

WOW that is a LOT of new options ! Can’t wait to see what the DT will do with all that, to get some inspiration.

(Do you plan on having a simple 4×6 pocket, both vertical and horizontal, like you have the 5×7 ? that would be totally fantastic)

  27. Stacey says:

These are fantastic! I am so excited about so many of them! Will they be available outside of the variety packs as individual designs? Id’ really love to buy just the designs I want, but I guess if I *have* to buy the variety packs I will. ;) So excited by so many of the announcements this week. Love how PL has evolved over the years. Been here since Project 365 was released and think this is all so amazing. :)

  28. Teresa says:

    Wow .. great new options!!!!

    I too am wondering if you’ll be adding 3 1/2 x 5 size?

  29. Laurel says:

So exciting! I agree with some of the people above hoping for digital templates of the new designs available separately from the original designs. I have all the current ones already, so an additional pack for these would be awesome! :)

  30. EmmaJ says:

26 different page protectors! That blows my mind! Love them all.

  31. Sue Alger says:

What a wonderful variety of plastics. For those looking for digi templates, we can always create you own.

  32. Denise E says:

WOW…options of literally every shape and size! Love it! Thanks for listening and providing such awesome products for all of us!

  33. Mary M. says:

OMGEEEE! These are A. Maz. Ing. Thank you, thank you, thank you for making more 4×4 options! I love them all! =)

  34. Vi says:

Y and Z are particularly awesome. I’d do a whole album out of them.

I second the above posters who’d eventually like to see these all available in packs by themselves!

  35. emma says:

LOVE!! BRILLIANT. Becky, you never cease to amaze me with your ideas. I think you must be tapping into my brain waves because these are exactly the new designs I have been looking for! Love design W.

  36. Deborah B says:

I love these! Michaels already has the big pack C…it was the first set I purchased! I love the fun sizes and 60 will keep me busy for a long time! Will the rest of these be at Michaels soon? HAPPY

  37. Mandy S. says:

AHH! In love with new plastic designs!

  38. Suz says:

I hope that you have plans to do an A4 size page soon? It is desperately wanted by all of your international customers – that is the standard size for certificates so your current sizes just don’t work for some of our most precious memorabilia.

  39. Penny says:

Loving these!! I’m forced to switch to 12×12″ next year because your page protectors are the best ;) Just wondering whether you have any plans for 6×8″ page protectors? Lots of people are doing their PL handbook size, so these would come in handy too!

  40. Janie says:

LOVE…LOVE…LOVE all of them. LOVE all the new mini kits. You’ve been one busy lady!! AMAZING…. Thanks so much for making them available in stores too. I’ve already gotten stuff at Archivers.
I just started a Arts and Crafts group at church and I am sharing your solutions with everyone there!! They all love how simple it is. I emphasize NO TAPE or SISSORS…. just stuff and go!!

  41. Leisa says:

Wow! So many great options !! Especially love the envelopes :)

  42. Linnea says:

Oh my, I think my favorite product is the corner rounder

  43. Sally says:

I am so totally stoked about that corner rounder! Finally, I know it be an exact replica of my Project Life card corners!

  44. Theresia says:

I love all the new products but the new ledger cards are so fantastic.

  45. Anne says:

Can’t wait for the new ledger cards and oh so many of the plastic options that I want/need!

  46. L.B. says:

Loving W and X to change it up a bit and have the vertical photos option more. Thanks

  47. Rosa M. Neno says:

I love all the choices! Thanks for more options!

  48. Sonia says:

    I especially page L
I like that I have more slots for 4×6 pics instead of just using the cards to fill in. Sometimes I have a lot of pictures of a certain event but not enough slots for them. This sheet really does the trick!

  49. Julie says:

I really, really hope that Design P will be available for a purchase on its own, outside of the variety pack. Definitely being able to have all Instagram photos on one page would be awesome! I have so many ideas for what I want to do with my photos from 2013, but I want to make sure my pages all match and purchase only the PL/BH style. Crossing my fingers for it to be popular :)

  50. Katie says:

I love some of the different layouts, and, being new to Project Life, I would really like to try them out! Unfortunately, I am unable to find any of the small packs (or many of the different pages) available for sale. Will these be available again anytime soon?

  51. I like the valuable information you provide in your articles.
I will bookmark your blog and check again here regularly.
I’m quite sure I’ll learn a lot of new stuff right here!
    Good luck for the next!
