meet + mingle re-cap

We recently had the opportunity to meet + mingle with about 120 Project Lifers. Our team organized the gathering to happen on the Franklin Covey campus in Salt Lake City, Utah, since we were already in town for the Stampin’ Up! convention.

This gathering was our opportunity to connect with customers, share our Project Life App for the very first time, and share some swag. Many thanks to American Crafts, Studio Calico, and Stampin’ Up! for sharing goodies with our friends!

I was able to meet with every attendee on an individual basis. They came from California, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Texas, and who knows how many other states. And they were completely LOVELY! In the large group setting, I introduced everyone who was there from our team. I answered random questions. And like I said, this was our first opportunity to turn down the lights, show the app on the big screen, talk about the app, demonstrate how it works, and answer questions related to the app.

A highlight for our team was hearing and seeing the ooh’s and aah’s that rang out through the auditorium when we shared the details of the app. We are so grateful that so many of you are just as excited to learn about the app and we’re pleased as punch to be just around the corner from lots of sharing. In fact, if you’re keeping an eye on my social media sharing, I’ll be posting a few completed pages from the app this week. I’ll also be answering some of those already-frequently-asked questions very, VERY soon.

In the meantime, here’s a little re-cap video of our Meet + Mingle that Friday afternoon.

So excited to learn more about the new app. I’m hoping you’ll answer the android question in your FAQ coming soon. If not, would you please make a mention of whether or not it will be available for android? Thanks so much! Sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for more! Thank you Becky!

I agree. I’d hate to get all excited for nothing.

Heather – I can’t speak for Becky but I was at the meet & mingle. The way I remember her explaining it is that the iphone version of the app only has to be written once before it can be released. You can use the iphone version on any iphone regardless of type – the software code is universal. One writing makes it easy and faster to issue then android. Whereas with the droid it has to be written multiple times because the app software code has to be unique for each phone that uses droid because they aren’t universal like the iphones. Multiple writings of the software means longer time before it can be released. She did say they are working on the droid version though.
