I was born + raised in the Seattle area, but since graduating from high school I have lived literally all over the world. Most recently I called Alaska home, but beginning in 2018, I will be setting down roots in south Texas!
My family now consists of just me currently and that’s ok.
The way I use Project Life is to record my unconventional life. I’ve been blessed to have some pretty cool experiences thus far, and Project Life has given me a convenient way to record those memories while also appealing to my creative side. While I started out as a physical Project Life practitioner, I have since transitioned to the app. Having the ability to document always at my fingertips has allowed me to finish projects in locations where physical products aren’t feasible to use, which is awesome!
To me, documenting life is a priority. I love being able to sit down and review my memories as I create my layouts. Time goes by so quickly and without a record I would forget so many cool details. Now I’m able to flip through albums I made 3, 4, 5 years ago and relive the incredible experiences I had. It’s especially nice to look through albums of trips I went on when I’m getting the itch to travel but it isn’t feasible for one reason or another.
Three things on my bucket list are:
1. Ride in a hot air balloon.
2. Visit Antarctica. If it weren’t so expensive, I would have already gone!
3. Find my soulmate and create a life with them.
Cultivating a good life means enjoying every moment and living with intention. The good things and the bad, the happy and the sad. I try to wake up everyday, optimistic for what’s to come. While I may not love all of my experiences, I know that I am a better person because of them and am in turn able to be a light to others.
