Pocket Scrapbooking with Project Life

Cultivate a good life and record it.

Welcome to Project Life

The evolution of Project Life® over the past 6 years is quite interesting! The way we now offer the product and the variety that is now available has evolved into a very broad selection, and it’s a huge contrast to how Project Life was offered in the very beginning.

But through the years and the changes and additions and partnerships and expanded product line, Project Life continues to remain true to how it all began: photos + journaling cards slip into pocket pages and this results in a very simplified approach to scrapbooking that has helped countless people around the globe. There’s a lot more variety these days and we still stand behind our message that you can take whatever approach you want. But gone are the days that one must be highly creative in order to preserve his or her memories.

With the expansion of Project Life, it can seem a little confusing or overwhelming. Our mission has always been to help simplify things for people, so our team has produced this brand-new video that is a brief overview of all things Project Life. In less than 5 minutes, you’ll get a review of the different ways to do Project Life. We hope this helps to clarify a few things. At the end of the day, we want you to choose a method of scrapbooking that makes the most sense for you. Choose whatever motivates you to get it done so you can have a fun and successful experience preserving your memories!

As a follower of yours since the days of Creating Keepsakes, and a long time scrapbooker, I would like to know how, or if, you have integrated all of your traditional scrapbook supplies. I have soo much card stock, stamps, glitters, glues, ribbons and bows that I look at every day and am not sure what to do with since I’ve transitioned to Project Life. I’d love to hear your ideas on this since you’ve posted that you are going through a major organizational transition as well.

Some ideas: Cut your cardstock up into card sizes and use them for journaling and filler cards! Embellish your cards! There a are many project lifers who still use a lot of the traditional supplies to make shaker/glitter pockets and embellish their cards. So weeks when you have a little more time you can do a little more cutting, gluing, and embellishing. :)

Becky and the whole BH crew-

I want to thank you all for including captions on this video, amazing!!! I understood what was said and I’m hard of hearing. I’m project lifer now for about 6 years now and I really love how easy it is. I don’t want to have to think or overwhelm myself so much that I will just push away from cultivating and documenting mine and my family’s life. So with that being said, I just have to say thank you, thank you, thank you again!!

Oh! I love how Wendy acted in the video, hilarious! :)

  5. I seriously am so excited about starting my book. I have so many pictures & had no idea what to do with them. Now it’s everything I can do just to control myself & do one album at a time. Thank you for such a simple & wood earful product. Can’t wait to get started.

Too funny!! PL took away all the stress of standard scrapbooking and brought the fun back into it, just like this video shows. Thanks Becky and all at Project Life!
