puppy playdate

We pretty much have an open door policy in our office – even if you have four legs! A few months ago we opened our doors to our employees’ dogs for our first-ever (and possibly only) puppy playdate. Several of the team members brought their dogs to work for the day and while it was a bit chaotic at times, boy did the pups have fun!

Kari brought 1-year-old Twix, a Shih Apso – half Shih Tzu and half Lhasa Apso. Toni brought her two cuties: Griffin, a 7-year-old Shih Tzu and Zoey a 6-year-old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix. Wendy spent the day with her 12-year-old Yorkie-Poo, Diesel. In her words, he enjoys popcorn and riding in the car and long runs around the neighborhood without a leash. Of course I had Oreo by my side for the day. This was before we added Pippa to the family!

Thought we’d share a little taste of our fun playdate! All photos taken by our friend Jen Lake who happened to be visiting that day from New Mexico. Be sure to watch the fun video here!

Everyones puppies are so cute. They look very happy. When I worked from home and was on long conference calls I would sit and hold my puppy scarlet. It was so nice to have her companionship during stressful work situations. I love that you let the dogs visit.

This post makes me smile. Gotta love a workplace where dogs are welcome!
