I was born + raised in Orange County, California and am currently residing a mere 30 minutes away in Riverside, California.
My family now consists of my husband, Jose and our 10-year-old daughter, Keilani.
The way I use Project Life is as a compilation of a 365 photo a day and a "highlights of our week" kind of thing. It depends on where our beautiful chaos takes us, one week at a time.
To me, documenting life is capturing everything I really want my daughter to remember as she grows older; from big moments, to the every day routine and everything else in between. When the moment has passed or when our memories fade, our pictures and journaling are what we have left to remember them by. Change is inevitable, but our precious photos will remain the same. Besides... a whole year with creative, no fuss, documenting? What more could a busy mom ask for?.
Three things on my bucket list are:
- Cook better than my husband.
- Rent a Pontoon + have fun on the lake.
- Start my blog (I'm way behind on that one).
Cultivating a good life means: keeping my faith strong and embracing the life God has given me. Being grateful. Never underestimating the power of positive thinking. Being present in the moment, not just as the "mamarazzi" (as my daughter calls me) behind the lens.
