Awbree Caton in Rehoboth, Massachusetts

Kelly in Bozeman, Montana

Ginger B. in Paragould, Arkansas

Anita in Otterup, Denmark

I think we can all agree that October has been a pretty rad month around here. Today we’ve got the biggest + best gift so far – based completely on feedback from you, our customers.

Our product line has grown exponentially in the past year since we announced our partnership with American Crafts {one year ago yesterday, to be exact}. We are thrilled to see Project Life® available in more places, making it even more accessible to people across the world. One thing we hear from many is that you wish you could see all of the cards in a kit before you make a purchase. We love to share lots of product images when we announce a new product, and our previews at digitalprojectlife.com show even more of the cards in any given kit. Now we’re taking it one step further and we’re giving you exactly what you asked for … a full reference PDF showing all of the cards you will receive when you purchase any of our products – WOO HOO!! We need to give a standing ovation to our digital powerhouse, Laurie, who has been working like crazy to make these available.

{questions + answers}

Q: What do the reference PDFs look like?

A: They are amazing! There are multiple pages in each PDF, with the cards organized by size and type of card. The name of the kit is at the top of each page and there is a colored band with the name of the kit along the right side of each page – perfect for keeping them organized in a binder. Here’s a peek at one page from the Jade Edition PDF:

Q: Which kits do you have PDFs for?

A: We are working to provide a full reference PDF for each product we offer – Core Kits, Mini Kits, and Themed Cards. Today we have 47 product PDFs available for download (YAY!) and will be adding more of them as they are completed.

Q: Can I print them?

A: Of course! However, please note that these are not meant to be a replacement for our printed or digital products – they are meant to be a reference. Each card on these new PDFs is reduced in size and watermarked to protect our artwork while allowing you an opportunity to view an entire card collection in one place.

Q: Can I share the PDFs with my friends?

A: These PDFs are intended for personal use and are not to be distributed in any way. Your family + friends are welcome to download the files for themselves.

Q: Where can I download the reference PDFs?

A: They are available on THIS PAGE at digitalprojectlife.com. Just click on the kit you want and the PDF should open in your browser. If you would like to save a copy, click on the little image of the disk toward the bottom of the page (screenshot shows the option in Safari). This may differ from browser to browser depending on what you use (as you can see in the second screenshot taken in the Firefox browser).

I hope you are as thrilled about this gift as we are to offer it – we know it will be a valuable resource for so many … myself included!

Thank you! I was thinking about trying to create something like this for the kits I have. Now I can stop thinking and get to creating! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  3. Maria V. says:

Love Love LOVE this!!! Thank you!!! This is SO helpful. I’m not a kit hoarder, I buy one (digital) kit per year and stick with that. But this is so helpful in deciding which kit I will purchase.

(Side note: I’m going to use Jade for 2014 and every time I see it I fall in love with it even more).

  4. Love these! Thanks Becki and team!

  5. KristiG says:

Thank you so much Becky & Laurie! This is so great! I have been wanting something exactly like this because I have so many kits and would love to be able to see all the cards at once instead of leafing through them all. This will be so helpful in my process. It will also be nice to see all the cards before buying a kit, but so far I’ve been able to get a good feel for how much I will like the kit with the previews you share…and I’ve not been disappointed yet! Thanks so much again!

This is so cool! I started out downloading the PDFs for the kits I have but soon realized that I could easily go “shopping” in the PDFs for other products to pick out which I need next. I am eagerly awaiting the other core kits coming out. And I am really enjoying the smaller packs, too. Thanks!

Oh, oh, what a great idea! I just got my friend started on Project Life and when I asked her what kit she got, she told me Sunshine – which is one I hadn’t even heard of. It’s nice that I can go on here and see what she got! Plus, now I can decide for SURE what kit I want to buy next! :) Thanks, Becky, this is awesome!

  42. Angie says:

Glory Hallelujah! I was just about to have to print out all my “printables.” And that would be a lot of paper and ink since I have so many kits! This is just what I am looking for! Thanks so much y’all! Blessings!

  43. Saam says:

Brilliant! Thank you so much for this timesaver.

  44. Cathy A. says:

This. is. AWESOME!! Thank you!! Cannot wait to see the rest of the kits when they are added as well.

  45. Rachel L says:

Thanks Becky, this is fantastic! Thanks Laurie for your hard work.

I bought 5th & Frolic after seeing photos of all the cards on eBay. I had thought it was quite pink and girly com the preview photos, but after seeing the photos I realised there were plenty of neutrals, yellows and greens, and that there were a lot of cards without flowers. So seeing more of the kit definitely helps sell the product ;)

This will also be great for swapping cards. Can see which I want to ask for :)

  46. see mary scrap says:

This is wonderful news. Being new to Project Life, I was hoping to preview all the cards in a set prior to deciding which collections to purchase. This will make the decision making process a lot easier.
Thank you to you and your team for making this happen.

  47. Anne D. says:

Love! Love! Love! Thank you for this fabulous tool and for hearing your customers. You are the best!

  48. Lisa says:

I was just thinking I needed this as I have 4 kits and hate thumbing through the cards…so excited!

  49. Thank you for making the PDF’s. Both you and your team are kept quite busy. I have enjoyed all that you have shared with us during your 4th PL Anniversary. :)

    Fabulous! Thank you!

  54. Nancy says:

Thank you for your hard work; this makes a great reference!!

  55. Emily says:

Wonderful! I think I will have to make an album of all my core kits – what a great reference instead of flipping through all my kits to find a specific card! There are so many versatile cards that work well with other kits, and I often forget about them.

  56. Y’all just keep rockin’ my socks! I am always searching around to find more of what is in each kit before deciding whether it will truly suit my needs. This just makes it all come together perfectly.

THANK YOU! Here’s looking forward to a most incredible fifth year of #ProjectLife :-)

  57. Gemma says:

Thank you! This is going to be so useful.

  58. Andrea says:

This is great! I just printed them off for a reference binder. It was also nice seeing the full contents of the LDS Missonary Sister. The colors in the product pics available (to date) appealed to me but I wasn’t sure if the filler cards would be too specific to the trip (since I’m not LDS). The contents are beautiful and have lots that can be used elsewhere too. THANKS!!

  59. Dawn says:

Oh my goodness these are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much for putting all the time and effort into making these reference sheets!! Now I can check the binder rather than try and remember what was in each kit!!!! Thanks again!!!!

  60. Vi says:

This is amazing. I just downloaded quite a few. Thanks so much!

Do you have plans to offer these PDFs for past kits? They are invaluable not just for selecting new kits to buy, but also in planning layouts with kits I already have. Would love to see Kraft, Seafoam, Clementine, and Cinnamon especially.

  61. Chris-Ellyn says:

WOW! Thank you from the bottom of my want-to-be-organized heart! This fills a huge need for me!

  62. Lesley B says:

Thank you. You know what else would be awesome…if a QR code could be provided on the signs at the stores that stock PL that lead to these reference pages. I know I walked away from a purchase b/c I wasn’t sure how many cards I would actually use in the kit. I tried to find it online from my phone but it was taking too long. If I could have looked it up quickly I would’ve bought it right away.

  63. Cheryl says:

Wow. Can I just say wow! That had to be a huge undertaking. Can’t believe sometimes the demands consumers have but nothing ruffles your feathers. You aim to please. As a super organized and detailed person I love having this kind of reference material and truly appreciate all your efforts.

  64. Keianna says:

And this is fabulous. After browsing a few PDFs, I now see I need 3 kits I wasn’t so sure about. Very helpful.
