my favorite everyday footwear
I’m no fashionista. I wouldn’t say I’m a shoe collector. I don’t even really know the latest in shoe fashion at all.
But I do know what’s practical and comfortable – and I wear what works for me. So today I’m sharing my favorite everyday footwear. Not dressy shoes or athletic shoes. Comfortable, everyday shoes that I keep close to the door when I need to slip something on really fast and head out the door.
And an added bonus – they’re cute. There’s an awesome variety of styles in this one type of shoe (or as they call it … they’re sandals).
No – this is not a sponsored post. Sanuk hasn’t sent me any footwear. I really don’t know much about their company, and I’m pretty sure they don’t know mine. I’m just a girl who loves comfortable, cute, easy footwear.
Maybe it’s the way the inside of the shoes feel. Maybe it’s the fact that it takes me about 2 seconds to put them on and take them off (since I’m always running out the door fast, and I always take my shoes off at home).
I have a few pairs of these. Variety is the spice of life. I’ve picked up a pair at the store (they can be found in so many stores), and I’ve gotten a couple pairs online (I know Amazon and Zappos both carry them, for example). I have found their sizing to be consistent and since I know that size 8 is what works for me, I can order online. Otherwise I’m not much of a buy-clothes-and-shoes-online type of shopper.
It’s almost shorts weather here in Arizona again (for real – where did our winter go?). And I think these would be cute with shorts, too.
The first pair of Sanuks I got (thanks to a friend’s recommendation) were flip flops a few years ago. The most comfortable pair I had ever had in my life. Now I have a couple pairs of flip flops, a few pairs of the shoes, and David’s on-board with a couple pairs of Sanuks for himself. We’re trying the ones for kids now, too. We’re fans.
At Home with Becky
This post is part of a weekly blog series called At Home with Becky. Each Wednesday, I share a little something from home – routines, organization, traditions, decor, etc. Coming up … a look inside my purse, a DIY project I’ve been working on, and some ideas from the kitchen. If ever you are interested in seeing all of these posts in one place, just click on that turquoise button at the top of my blog that says At Home with Becky.
