Pocket Scrapbooking with Project Life

Cultivate a good life and record it.

international scrapbooking day

I think it’s officially National Scrapbooking Day, but to that I would say … what about the rest of the world?? We have scrapbookers spanning this entire planet! So… Happy International Scrapbooking Day, friends! This is the official holiday that we celebrate the coolest hobby on the planet. A hobby that is SO fun, rewarding, meaningful, therapeutic, important … all wrapped into one activity.

Obviously we have a few things up our sleeves to celebrate with YOU! Here’s a quick overview, and I invite you to partake in any or all of these exciting things!

Project Photo Rescue

For the first time ever, we have produced a video … that’s honestly more like a reality show you’d see on TV. Minus the commercials. We found a military wife who felt so overwhelmed, behind, confused on “where to go from here” with her scrapbooking. I went to her house, spent a couple days helping her to make sense of this hot mess she was feeling (just 5 days before the arrival of baby #3) and … well, you’ll just have to see it for yourself. Check out the blog post, and please share the video with ANYone who might relate to Jaime’s struggles or have any interest at all in scrapbooking.

Get the app for just $0.99 – today only!

We know that many of you love and use the Project Life® App — awesome! If you have been on the fence, today’s your day! Like – for real. We have lowered the price to $0.99 for one day only! Catch it right now and before midnight tonight (Eastern time). Think about your friends who really need to know that scrapbooking in the palm of your hand is possible! Scrapbooking withOUT printing photos first, withOUT having supplies spread out, withOUT all of that? Yes. All of that. Tell your friends how much they need this in their life. If you don’t yet have the app yourself, this will be the best $0.99 you have ever spent! Available for both iOS and Android devices.

PS — You know we have a series of video tutorials for the app, right?

Free Scrapbooking Themed Cards

Once you have purchased the app (and for those who already own the app), our most recent update (which will go live any day now) includes an amazing set of free scrapbooking themed cards designed by Shawna Clingerman called Capture Life. These cards are gorgeous and so versatile and made especially for scrapbookers! These are also available as a free download in our Digital Shop and can be found here. We are also including some free teacher appreciation cards by Liz Tamanaha in this month’s app update and there are SO many fantastic new collections being added as well. It’s going to be an epic app update this month.

“I Use Project Life” + a chance to Skype with me!

You may have noticed something I’ve been sprinkling throughout my Facebook and Instagram sharing this week. Each person on our team has taken a moment to share how / when / where / why WE use Project Life personally! I hope this has inspired you to think about this for yourself.

We want to see YOUR photos holding up an “I Use Project Life” sign. Download that sign here, print it, and finish that sentence with a bold marker. Then take a photo with your sign and post it on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #IUseProjectLife. In one week we will randomly select one person to receive a 30-minute Skype with me where I will do a mini Project Photo Rescue session with you!

Friends, I have overwhelmingly strong opinions about why this hobby of memory keeping is such a beautiful thing. I have a feeling that you feel similarly. You’re here because you have an interest in scrapbooking or you’re very much involved in preserving memories in one form or another. Regardless of your approach or style or longevity or experience … I applaud you for your efforts in cultivating a good life and recording it.

Thank you so much for being here, and we’re so happy to be celebrating with you!

Thank you so much for the inspiration you give me Becky, to be open hearted, kind, hard working, and focused. And I love how you look for the good in the world. You’re too young to be my hero, ;) but you’re my Little Hero!

What a great update in the app today. As someone who has been using it since Day 1, I still offer to buy it for anyone that wants it. LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Thanks to you and your team for all they do!

Thank you so much for the free collection cards. It’s awesome that you made them available to those of us that are already customers, and not just to new customers. Many times I find myself asking why a “deal” is only available to new customers. Loyalty should count too. Your heart is so big, and it’s open to all of us. Thanks again.

Hi I love the new kits but was hoping for some editing options too. Mostly the option to rotate pictures and cards. And having all cards in each kit available to use not just some. Thanks.

Just looking for a little motivation to get me started…..what a great way to start if I could “skype” with the expert, Becky! Everything is in my room and ready to go. Just need a chance (free time) to sit down and start.

JUST START…… Download the app, make one page with some current photos on your phone. You will be so hooked that you will be documenting everything. Just document a few photos as though you are journaling life as you live it!! Once you get the hang of it on the App you can then go straight to the albums and work there. There are tutorials on You Tube to give you tips on working with actual photos and memorabilia.
Once you get started there’s no turning back!!
      Enjoy and Start today!!!
