inspiration from our digital creative team – june 2015

Ah, the lazy days of summer! A time when things slow down, schedules become more flexible, and you have more time. Oh wait. That’s not always true. Am I right? Sometimes summers can be just as busy and hectic as the rest of the year. That is why Project Life® is perfect for documenting every season of the year.

To get your creativity flowing for your Project Life pages, we have a healthy dose of inspiration from our Project Life App and Digital Project Life Creative Teams. They will show you how adding pictures, cards, and words to a page results in not only just getting it done, but also in gorgeous pages that will make you proud. Are you ready? Let’s go!

These are all really nice layouts. I’m a PL App user who would love to see the same kind of shadowing around the cards in the app as there is around the digital cards. The shadows add a nice depth that makes the layouts look less flat and more paper-like. I hope that’s coming soon.

Hi Debbie, The shadows are actually added in Photoshop (or whatever design program the digital scrapbooker is using). They do not appear on the digital cards when they are downloaded. It would be a cool design option to add to the app, though! :)

Big shot templates are the bomb!

All lovely! I am really liking the square corners. I am still wishing that all the digital card sets came with square corners… so much more versatile. It is super easy to round corners in digital scrapbooking, but taking them from rounded to square can require a lot of work depending on the pattern and background design. :)

Love, love the App. I have already created 15 layouts in 2 days on my iPhone since buying the App. So quick and easy for me to be creative wherever I’m at. I agree with previous posters that say they would like a shadow option. I have a similar photo collage app that does allow shadows but it doesn’t have cool filler cards and journaling spaces. Would also love to see patterned backgrounds as a choice behind the pictures as opposed to just colors. Thanks!
