good life with madison steiner
Part of cultivating a good life is to Hustle Kindness®.
I grew up in a family where kindness and compassion towards others was a core value. Because of that, I always felt I could, and should, do something more to create a kinder world. Art was my talent that I could give, and with it I created a mission to bring joy to children who have experienced great hardship in the form of chronic illness and disability.
I started the non-profit, Peach’s Neet Feet, to show, tangibly, that even the smallest acts can have a large impact. Each pair of Peach’s Neet Feet shoes are hand painted with art that is chosen by each child and customized to celebrate their journey. The shoes are our way of creating caring moments and connecting with these children and their families. The shoes are free, and the only thing we ask in return is that they pay it forward with one act of kindness. My hope is that when a child receives a pair of shoes, they feel that they are valued. I hope they feel their journey is recognized and they feel celebrated beyond their diagnosis or adversity. This seemingly small act of receiving a pair of shoes became a shoelace that tied us all together and has now created an ever-growing community built on compassion and caring.
I knew that I could not do this on my own, so I decided that I needed to hustle and find others who shared my mission and vision . . . and that is how the Hustle Kindness® movement was born. This initiative is to inspire people to put kindness into action. We created a lifestyle brand and a platform where anyone and everyone could be involved. With every purchase of any Hustle Kindness® merchandise, proceeds are given back to the Peach’s Neet Feet mission.
My passion is to inspire others to recognize that we all have the ability to Hustle Kindness®. I understand that this will require a sizable shift away from the current “selfie” generation to a generation that genuinely cares for others. Let us work together to find the energy and drive for positive, impactful interactions that will make the world a kinder place, one hustle at a time.
