Testing 1-2-3… is this thing on?

Hi, friends! I am excited to jump on here for a chance to share a few of my absolute favorite things, but let me first introduce myself for those who may not know me. I am the Visual Manager here at Becky Higgins and that pretty much means I get to create pretty stuff all the time. That also explains why you may not see me a whole lot – I’m the one behind the camera and I prefer it that way. I am always having to remind Becky of that. ;) If you would like to get more up close and personal, you can find me over here on the Meet the Team page.

Now onto the fun stuff…

AZTEC PRINT. I am pretty picky on the trends I pick up on. Not because I am any kind of fashionista, but because I am just stuck in my ways. Ankle boots or “booties?” Will never. Geometric shapes on my nails? Not likely. However, aztec print? Always and forever. Whether it be a scarf, sweater, or leggings, I can’t seem to get enough. Love, love, love.

INFUSED WATER. This is a bit of a new one for me, but I am addicted. I picked up the large glass VOSS water bottles (mostly because it makes things prettier) and I fill them with my two favorite combos – strawberry and lemon or cucumber and lemon. So refreshing and so much healthier than what I used to drink. #RecoveringRedBullAddict

HILFIGER FOR WOMEN. Truth be told, I first picked up this bottle two years ago because I loved the packaging and liked the scent. And then I wore it for the first time and I will never use another perfume. It’s said that perfume has everything to do with the unique chemistry within each of our bodies and that there are perfumes that will smell beautiful on one woman and not on the next. Just like there are scents women will smell and love and others will not. I have never experienced this until I purchased this scent. Whenever I wear it, I get compliments and it’s now become that signature smell my kids and husband recognize and love.

ST. IVES APRICOT SCRUB. I keep my facial routine as simple as I possibly can. If it can’t be done while in the shower, forget about it. #TomBoy. So you can imagine how devastated I was to learn that my favorite citrus facial scrub from Burt’s Bees had been discontinued earlier this year. I did some searching online and heard raves about this cheap bottle of facial scrub that you can pick up at Walmart or your local store. I was pretty skeptical but thought I would give it a try since it was a scrub. Oh, friends. It is glorious! I can still get the job done while in the shower and my skin has never felt better. And for only $3.50? Yes, please. Forever and always. However, because of my experience with Burt’s Bees, I now worry that I need to buy this scrub in bulk!

KELLY BOY CAMERA BAG FROM KELLY MOORE. I am a photographer through and through, and the way I carry my gear and how it looks is a big deal. The Kelly Boy bag from Kelly Moore? I absolutely adore this bag and have been so impressed with the quality and durability. I love that it stands on its own when set down and it has plenty of room to hold camera equipment, my laptop, and the little go-to items such as ponytail holders and lip balm.

I’ve been using that facial scrub for several years. Hopefully they will never discontinue it. It’s awesome! I’m a big water drinker already but really want to try your add-in ideas!

I’ve been using St. Ives forever, did try the Burt’s Bees but did not like the smell. Love a lot of other Burt’s Bee products, just not that one. I usually get mine at Walgreens or Target, but the tube last me about a year.
