I was born + raised in Chicago, although technically I was born in sunny Santa Cruz, California. My parents only stayed a couple of months after I was born to be closer to family. I love Chicago and most of my extended family lives within 10 minutes of my house.
My family now consists of my hubby of 25 years (just had our anniversary), two sons, really now young men (22 and 21) and my 2 fur babies – Jack and Sully. They all show up in my pages alot!
The way I use Project Life is to document, document, document. It doesn’t have to be too exact but I do like chronology! Since I am an architect in the “real world” I really like things orderly and straight!
To me, documenting life is about being able to remember the stories that happen along the way in our life. Our favorite activity to do as a family is talk about funny, sad, silly, simple and momentous things that have happened in the past. We are a family of huge history buffs so it makes sense that we all like to document our own past!
Three things on my bucket list are:
1. Travel to Italy (and really get to know the culture and the food and the people)
2. Travel to Australia – as a pre-teen and teen I read a million books about Australia and I want to explore every corner!
3. Remodel my house with a big addition so I can have my own bathroom! (there are 3 men in my house after all…)
Cultivating a good life means spending time with my family and my extended family creating new memories that I can document!
