I was born + raised in small town Indiana. I currently live 10 minutes away from the hospital I was born at.
My family now consists of my husband of 14 years and our 4 amazing kiddos, Gabriel, Ezra, Stella and Jasper.
The way I use Project Life is to document and record our family’s everyday stories and memories. It’s about telling our stories with words and photos and making a legacy to be shared between them, and not having to spend tons of time or money while doing it. It leaves so much more time to MAKE memories which is my favorite thing! You don’t need fancy equipment. Just some cards, stories and photos and you are ready to get started!
To me, documenting life is a way to hold onto moments and make them last a little longer. Preserving a special, or even ordinary, magical moment and keeping it close for as long as you can. One of my newly favorite family movies, Kubo and the Two Strings, has this amazing quote in it. “Memories are the most powerful magic of all.” and how I love capturing that magic.
Three things on my bucket list are:
1. To see the Northern lights lit up and beautiful!
2. Take a road trip with no destination in mind.
3. Grow old with the love of my life.
Cultivating a good life means finding magic in all the moments, big and small, and holding it tight and treasuring it. Our lives are so full of busy and things to do and people to see anymore. Making a conscience effort to stop and savor moments and really look at them ends up making you so much more grateful in general and so much more aware of the world around you.
