Pocket Scrapbooking with Project Life

Cultivate a good life and record it.

creative team inspiration – october edition

I always look forward to seeing the submissions that our creative team sends in each month – they are filled with beautiful photography and stories of life – current everyday life as well as filling pages that recount past experiences. I’m always inspired by their work and enjoy sharing that inspiration here with you!

As usual with our monthly creative team sharing, we’re including just one snippet of what they are sharing on their own blogs and social media with regards to their Project Life albums. If someone’s style is right up your alley, just click on the person’s name and it will take you directly to where they are sharing more examples of how they’re using Project Life as a memory-keeping system.

We love how each member of our team has her own style in the way that she photographs, journals, and brings everything together to tell a story. Remember, no matter how you choose to record your memories, it’s all good. We don’t mean to overwhelm you with all of the inspiration and beautiful samples here  – we simply want you to be inspired + encouraged in your own memory-keeping efforts.

While several of our Creative Team members use various products to embellish, please keep in mind that you really can create an entire scrapbook with the 3 core Project Life components and nothing else. Album + Project Life Core Kit + Big Pack of Photo Pocket Pages. That’s it. If you’re looking for inspiration on using Project Life in the most simple format ever (ex. – no extra embellishing) – check out the sample albums on our Inspiration page.

We know many of you are also creating and inspiring others with your pages. Last week we announced our 2014 Creative Team call and we’ve already heard from many of you, but you have until Sunday, October 20th to send in your submissions to be considered … will yours be one of the layouts shared here starting in January?

Enjoy this October dose of creative inspiration! :)

Such wonderful pages, can really feel the heart these layouts are created with. So many pages without extra embellishments that just look terrific — at a loss as to why my pages look so bare I have to fight against this old urge to embellishment everything … absolutely everything. Creative Team all your hard work and heart is very appreciated. TFS!

Beautiful albums. I have a question, I want to do a mini album for my son who has just purchased his first home and I want to take pictures before he moves in and as he makes changes and updates for the album but I don’t know what edition would be the best. Do you have any recommendations? This will be my first Project Life album. Thank you, Pat
