creative team inspiration: may 2013 edition

As usual with the monthly offering of inspiration, I will share just one glimpse from each of their respective Project Life albums. And then – whenever and wherever you want to see more – just click on the person’s name and it will take you to their blog where they each share more details, more information, more pages, more examples of how they’re using Project Life as a memory-keeping system. If someone’s style “speaks” to you, you’ll want to check out the additional pictures and explanations on her blog.

We completely adore how each person’s style is so unique – in photography, with their journaling, and how they bring it all together in their albums. As you see how others are doing Project Life, our hope is that you will feel an increased desire to document life, and that you’ll be more in tune with what your own personal style is. No matter how you slice it, it’s all good. It’s your story. This post is loaded with eye candy. We don’t mean to overwhelm you. We simply want you to be inspired in your own memory-keeping efforts.

This month we challenged our team members to keep things ultra simple to remind you that you really can create an entire scrapbook with the 3 core Project Life components and nothing else. Album + Project Life Core Kit + Big Pack of Photo Pocket Pages. That’s it. If you’re looking for more inspiration on using Project Life in the most simple format ever (that is, no extra embellishing) – check out the sample albums on our Inspiration page.

But thinking Nisa’s might be Rain instead of Cobalt???

    • Shanon says:

I think so too. I’m using Cobalt right now and I don’t recognize any of those designs. But I’m loving those designs and the Rain kit is on my shopping list!

  4. So much amazing inspiration this month Becky and I adore the simplicity!

Thank you to the creative team for the inspiration. Album + Core Kit + Page protectors: this is the way I’m making my Project Life this year, and I totally love it (and I’m fast! :-) ). Like Katie, I adore the simplicity, totally my style! Thanks for the beautiful pages.

Just went to my local Hobby Lobby in Arkansas and found a display of your Project Life items. Of course, I had to get a few more things. Wonderful to see them available.

  8. Brenda says:

Really appreciate the simplicity!! Felt overwhelmed, though beautiful layouts I thought I couldn’t do all the elaborate pages. Now I feel re-energized to start where I left off.
Love the product!!! I gave a core kit to a colleague who is a dear friend but most importantly my sons teacher as a teacher appreciation gift!! She really liked the gift.

    Becky,
Thank you for asking the creative team to do a simple layout for inspiration this month! As someone who stickers to just the core kit, and maybe a few stickers here and there, this gave me some good ideas of ways to mix up my pages, but stick to my simple approach. I was not a traditional scrapbooker before starting project life, so this was refreshing!

    Thanks!
    Krista

  11. Jamie says:

I’m waiting so impatiently for the Jade and Rain kits to come out! I love the color schemes and Project Life is the first memory keeping system I’ve been able to stick with, enjoy, and not get overwhelmed. My six year old daughter loves to see her pictures and stories in an album she can look through all the time. She loves stamps and stickers and she probably has a better eye for color coordination and embellishments than I do.

She has a tattered old photo album she takes with her on trips (we are a military family and her father and the rest of our family is 1000+ miles away), and when she comes home again I think we will make a PL mini album to replace it for her journeys.

Project Life has enriched our lives and motivated me to get prints made and into albums where they can be enjoyed.
