Pocket Scrapbooking with Project Life

Cultivate a good life and record it.

creative team inspiration – january 2014 edition

A new year brings a new Creative Team and we are thrilled to share our first snippets of inspiration from them today! We love their focus on simplicity while remaining true to their personal styles and creativity. Each of these girls is unique in the way she chooses to photograph, journal, and bring her pages together, but they all have the same goal to document life. We hope you find this monthly dose of sharing to be inspiring rather than overwhelming. Remember, no matter how you choose to record your memories, it’s all good.

While we’re only sharing one example from their work here, we know you’d probably love to see more. Each of our team members is sharing on either a personal blog, instagram, or other social avenues, so just click on the person’s name and it will take you directly to where they are sharing more examples of how they’re using Project Life® as a memory-keeping system. You can also visit their personal profile pages (on our Meet the Team page) for links to all of the places you can find their work.

Some of our Creative Team members use various products to embellish their pages, but please keep in mind that you really can create an entire scrapbook with the 3 core Project Life components and nothing else. Album + Project Life Core Kit + Big Pack of Photo Pocket Pages. That’s it. We are getting close to launching our own shopping cart to provide you with another place that you can find the Project Life products you are looking for – YAY!

And with that, grab yourself a snack and enjoy scrolling through the beautiful work of our 2014 Creative Team!

[ Note from Becky: This post is organized and written by Kari, who oversees everything to do with our Creative Team. She personally handpicks something from each CT member to share with you. Can you imagine the fun!? It’s also a great deal of work and coordination, and I am so grateful to Kari – and also to our shiny & new 2014 Creative Team! So much inspiration packed into these CT posts. Enjoy! ]

Seems a lot of your DT is using midnight will there be more diversity in the kits they use going forward since there are many others out there for them to use?

  2. Anne-Christine says:

    Yummy pages!

  3. Sol S. says:

I love what they did but I was hoping to see some digital pages, are any of your CT members doing digital PL? I would love some inspiration :)

    • Tara says:

The digital team is found through the digital project life site but I know some of the team do digital layouts as well. I have several in my flickr stream myself as well and a lot of my Project Life is hybrid from the digital kits. :)

  4. Christine says:

Love this – soo much inspiration! I had a question since I didn’t see anyone doing PL digitally. I’ve looked at the graphic designers on the Digital PL website (which I LOVE by the way), but there doesn’t seem to be anyone who is doing PL digitally, i.e. like Donna Gibson, Heather Johnson, Jen Hignite or Teresa Victor from the 2013 design team. Will you no longer be showing digital PL inspiration? Thanks! :)

    • Hi Christine,
I can’t speak for the other Creative Team girls and I don’t know what plans Becky and her team have, but I’ll be doing some digital layouts/projects this year as well as using the physical products for my main Project Life album. I will be sharing on my blog throughout the year. :)
Glad you liked the layouts so far. Lots of talented ladies.
      2014 Creative Team :)

We have a creative team that works specifically with Digital Project Life and will be featuring them throughout the year – particularly as we have new digital releases. You can see lots of their inspiration on the product pages at digitalprojectlife.com and on the DPL Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/DigitalProjectLife

  5. You have a wonderful DT. Great ideas from each of the ladies, I loved looking at all of their pages. Thanks Ladies. :)

Great work, I just want to say for those our there like me, my pics are not always perfect or professional looking. I have to remind myself to scrap the memories anyway. I say this because when your looking at professional looking perfect pics it can make one feel as though there pics are not worthy of being scraped, be inspired by what you see and scrap whatever you have it’s all worthy to be in your album!

    • Christina says:

Good point! We should all try to remember that not everyone takes perfect pictures (even though I try!! LOL).

  7. Karina says:

Such great inspiration. Love seeing my favorite kits in action. I may gave to add Sunshine to joy collection now too. Beautiful work.

  8. Juli says:

Love this month’s edition of inspiration!!!! I really like how simple the pages are. I also like to see the pages that have more embellishments, and they also provide inspiration but sometimes they can be too much. I’m off to work on more pages! Thanks!!!!

    • Kristine F says:

I love the pages–great work. Would like to some diversity with pages that add more embellishments on their pages just to see a mix. These are all so clean and beautiful though.

  9. Karen says:
