Hello, and Happy Weekend! A chunk of our team is in Anaheim, California, attending CHA right now, which is a trade show for the Craft & Hobby Association. CHA is a place and experience that I’ve become very familiar with as I’ve been going almost every year since probably 1997. It’s only been since three years ago, however, that our company has actually been exhibiting here.
Because I know just a handful of you reading this are actually at CHA (it’s not open to the general public, unfortunately)… I want to be sure that anyone who is interested in seeing more and feeling like they’re a part of the experience gets to! This is the beauty of social media. First of all, have you seen our CHA video from last year? So fun! Kara did a great job capturing what happens there.
A note about social media: I love it and I use it. I know most of you know that already, but in case you’re not following us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, that’s where all the sharing is happening – not just this weekend, but all the time. One of my favorite ways to use social media is the regular sharing of #BHBehindTheScenes of what happens on a day-to-day basis in this company. As far as CHA, you’ll see that I’m not only sharing pictures of the booth and sneak peeks of our brand new products, but you might even feel like you’re hanging out with us as I share the FUN we’re having too. (Did you catch the dancing video on Instagram last night? – ha!) If you want to see more videos, be sure to check Instagram as that is the only place they’ll be shown.
Not on social media? Not a problem. You can still take a look at our social links and even just browse for a minute or two if you’re interested in what we’re up to.
If you are at CHA, please know that we’d love to see you! Booth #534 is home base for us… right next to American Crafts and Heidi Swapp and Dear Lizzy and Amy Tangerine and Crate Paper and Pebbles in my Pocket and We R Memory Keepers and … You get the idea. We’re easy to find.
Speaking of American Crafts, they rock. Our friends at AC are responsible for our booth design (it’s brand new this year!) and set-up, our catalogs, and as most of you know — the actual production of our Project Life® products. Our partnership with American Crafts is the reason we are exhibiting at CHA and the avenue in which our products have been made available in thousands of stores across the world.
