all-new project life planner

The all-new Project Life Planner by Becky Higgins | BeckyHiggins.com

Project Lifers tend to be organizers. And organizers tend to be planners. And planners tend to enjoy… planners! The Project Life® Planner is one of our newest additions to the product family and one that we hope you’ll enjoy so very much. These pictures will help to illustrate the corners and crevices of the planner, but here also is a brief explanation:

The Project Life Planner fits any and all of our 6×8 products (page protectors, envelope pages, page sets, etc.) and comes with 1 sheet lifter that has my handwritten tagline in silver foil, as well as (20) Perforated Grid Card pages – (10) 4×6 and (10) 3×4. There are also additional items, sold separately — a set of Planner Pages, 6×8 Tabbed Dividers, Perforated Grid Card pages, and even 6×8 Zipper Pouches that are terrific for little trinkets and pieces of life that you don’t want to lose.

The idea is for you to use this planner however you choose, of course! The vision with including such items as perforated grid card pages and the zipper pouch, etc. is for you to be able to do a little Project Life on-the-go. Get some handwritten journaling cards filled out, collect memorabilia that will eventually make it into the scrapbook, or use it as an actual day planner. Or … do a little bit of everything with your planner! Make it work for YOU.

WOW! That’s a lot for a planner when I have to piece out the rest. :S

    • Elaine says:

I agree! Very cute and LOVE the idea, but out of my price range.

    • Cori says:

I agree… considering what you get I wouldn’t say its a planner… no planner pages….. too rich for me and totally not a good value.
      …..surprised coming from Becky Higgins.

  2. Kimberli says:

LOVE this, can’t wait to get my hands on it!!!

  3. Terri says:

What exactely comes with this? Are the month tabs etc included or do I have to buy those seperately?

  4. Kristin says:

I love this and I need this!! I’m going to the Exoo in Schaumburg, will these be there? ….. Fingers crossed! :)

  5. Staci says:

It is very confusing what this comes with. It’s a planner with no planner pages?

  6. Carolyn says:

Love the color and that it has a flap closure. Keeps it protected. There are so many cute planners coming out. Is this going to be in any of the major craft stores soon?

  7. Kristina says:

Very expensive for a non-leather planner that doesn’t come with planner pages.

  8. Lydia says:

Everything about this is CUTE and I am looking for my 2016 planner… They only question I would have is how it will work with adding papers/pics? My planners get very thick (fat). Does this type of closure accommodate that?

Wow this planner is Amazing!! I would Love One! Becky you are fantastic with knowing what people need in a planner and to help them to write down important events we go through in life. I think you are amazing and so talented

    Kind Regards

    Tracy Doyle

  11. Angela says:

Holy cow, that is pricey. I love the looks of it and the fact that it will make PL more streamlined, but I can not justify that price. For $50 it should come with everything you need! Still love your products, but that price needs to come into line w/ the price of other planners or include everything you need to use it.

  12. Chelsea says:

Where are you able to purchase this? Specifically in Canada…other than the Becky Higgins website.

  13. Terresa Tate says:

Yes, this is quite expensive for what it is. There was one last year you could by at Michaels for more than half the price. Very pretty, but more than I think I would spend.

  14. mary says:

oh i so need to get my hands on one of these planners. when will they be available in the UK

  15. Kelly C says:

Do the planner pages actually have a monthly calendar on them? Just curious! :-)

  16. Scrapcrazyyyy says:

I have been eyeballing other planners BC they seem to be easier to carry (notebook style). However, I have the PL Planner and love it!!! I love that I can add sheet protectors or envelopes. I also love that I can control how many months I have in my book. I remove the older months to give more room for the extras and for the future year calendar pages. I wish the PL planner I bought a few months ago was not discontinued. I love the colors and layout. Boohoo! I think the pricing is inline with what I have seen online.

  17. Elina says:

I bought this planner way back in June. I had no idea I needed a planner until I saw this one in Hobby Lobby and fell in love with the colors. I use it as a journal and write a little something every day. It’s great to use as a reference when I finally get around to doing my Project Life pages. It is pricey but worth every penny for it’s very sturdy and well made.

  18. Meg says:

I was waiting for you to come up with a planner!! ;) I also think the price is just fine. I’m sure it’s top notch quality wise. Other planners, of good quality, are much more money and they don’t come with much, you have to order planner pages for most of them so I’m not sure what people are talking about? Yes if you compare it to the HS one (which is super cute) it’s expensive but the HS planner isn’t the best quality, it’s more for fun I think. I do have one and use it but I would like a more versatile one (love the 6×8 size with all the add ons you can purchase for it). Great idea!! Now please make them easily accessible in Canada, specifically Calgary, Alberta hehe ;-) thanks!

  19. Carol says:

This is cute, but seems to be a bit of a copycat of Heidi Swapps. It also seems very expensive when you have to purchase all of the components separately. I’ve been such a fan of Becky’s and all of the Project Life products, but I’m wondering how many different directions this line is going to take. It makes me sad that this planner is coming out right on the heels of this tragedy that has struck the Swapp family.

    • Karin says:

I believe the Heidi Swapp planners are reaching the end of their shelf life, as they are on clearance in the stores now. I would expect HS to be releasing something new for 2016 soon. As for coming off of the Swapp tragedy — when a product launch is set – its probably been set for awhile. It is just business – and business goes on, regardless of tragedies. I do not see this as BH trying to lure HS customers her way. HS is a memory planner while i see the BH version an organizational tool for PL. Looking forward to checking this out.

  20. Monja says:

I’m a HUGE planner fan! Actually we have a store selling stickers exactly for these planners :-)

  21. Debbie P says:

I love the look but is it $50+ for just the binder or does everything in the photo (calendar inserts, etc) come with it?

  22. Tash Daly says:

It’s cute, but not as cute as others in the same price range. Also doesn’t offer much WITH the actual planner. I rather the Memory Planner by Heidi Swapp to organise my memory keeping for PL. sorry

  23. Sharon B says:

A brilliant planner! I want one of these, when will it be in the UK?!!

  24. D Taylor Ives says:

While $50 isn’t uncommon for a planner these days, this non leather shell is definitely not worth it. I am certain this price is only temporary though. Might as well get everyone that’s willing to pay that price to hand over their money, then drop it closer to what it’s worth and the masses will buy the rest. I would think they would at least move into the 6 ring club so that the inserts would be interchangeable, but again, profit seems to be the purpose here.

  25. Dana says:

I have used the LP planner pages along with a 6×8 two-ring scrapbook binder the last two years. In fact, I just picked up next year’s planner pages (I plan from July 1 to June 30) at Michael’s. I switched from another popular planner maker to this. The pages and the book total were $20. Best planner on the market – at least for me!

  26. Caitlin B says:

Are these planner pages different from the other planner pages?

  27. Nothappy says:

I wish I hadn’t purchased one. And I bought from Becky’s website. I paid over $100 for the planner and all that you need to use it as a planner! Ugh. Impulse buy won out again.
Been trying to sell it with no luck. I never even used it.
Then about a week ago I see EVERYTHING is on SALE!!! Grrrrr

  28. Sarah says:

I purchased this because it was cute and felt like something I could take with me to work sites. Unfortunately after only a couple months the binder broke off. I was able to glue it back with gorilla glue but it was very disheartening how quickly the planner fell apart.
